Het ligt midden op Cura\u00e7ao en is bekend vanwege de moord op de onderwijzer Sabel tijdens de slavenopstand van 1795.<\/p>\n<p>Jarenlang lag het er totaal vervallen bij, maar de huidige eigenaar, de stichting Monumentenzorg Cura\u00e7ao, heeft het helemaal laten restaureren. De bedoeling is dat er een B&amp;B in wordt gevestigd. Nu maar hopen dat voldoende toeristen de charme van dit fraaie, kleine landhuis weten te waarderen.
